One thing that no one talks about when they talk about porn is how much of a turn-off a disgusting voice can be. Zoe Zane here is the new champion of repulsive voices. Farting on the cake isn't too thrilling, either.

Ya know, it's always pretty weird what people fixate on (porn too.) Dan talks about how ugly and repulsive he finds vaginas, but somehow he gets the batshitcrazy emails over some tame porn. I mean, damn, if you're gonna label him sexist over SOMETHING...

Might I make a this insightful contribution? It doesn't really matter if I get permission because I was going to do it anyway. Yeah, I used to get a little batshitcrazy over my boyfriend's porn collections. The attitude developed when I was working in an adult bookstore/video rental place (remember those quaint, pre-Internet establishments?) and equated every porn consumer with the lowlife pervs that entered the store.

I still have problems with "X is not representational of Y" but in my new role as a political media consultant, it doesn't matter that much.

I have nothing to say about fart fetishes, but I do feel compelled to weigh in on the porn issue. I don't like porn and as a porn-hater (and a woman) I feel perfectly comfortable with the batshitcrazy label for people who equate watching porn with cheating. I think there's a none to fine line between not liking porn and thinking that "consuming" it is tantamount to cheating...or maybe it is fine line...maybe consuming porn could be considered cheating if it, to use some nice legalese, alienates affection (i.e. if someone watches so much porn that they no longer want to engage in real life sexual acts with their more than willing spouse or siginificant other)...but even then I'd still say it's very bad, and maybe a deal breaker, but it's not the same thing as cheating. I also don't like tomatoes but I would call eating tomatoes cheating unless my lover was eating them off of another person's genitals.
