Yes, no MD-80s, please. I still vividly recall the Alaska Airlines pilots who had trouble with one on a Mexico-to-Seattle flight, and decided to keep flying and try to "troubleshoot" the problem while they passed numerous southern California airfields before plummeting into the Pacific, killing all aboard. In that case, Alaska's maintenance shortcuts combined with the Alaska-bush-pilot mentality to cause the disaster, but the MD-80 is a piece of fuel-guzzling crap no matter what and should be retired everywhere, especially from carrying people who are, ahem, already basically part of the continuity-of-government plan.

Yes, MD-80s suck much ass. I vividly remember a Houston-to-Phoenix flight after spending 3 hours in the airport bar. I got on the plane to find my window seat in the last row, said window being about 6 inches from one of the engines. Worst flight ever.
