Last fall I saw Terry Pratchett at a book signing outside Philadelphia. He was hilarious, with the most amazing (journalist's? British journalist's?) memory I have ever encountered. Kept trotting out one funny story after another, like the world's best dinner guest. He opened by joking about his forgetfulness, mentioning his keys a lot.

The diagnosis can't be true!! And if it is true, it's one of the greatest tragedies.
