Hey -- how come no reporting on the shooting at the UU church in Knoxville that killed 2 and injured others? The guy who did it reportedly did it because the UUers are so liberal (of course, the a$$hole also had an ex-wife from the church). Maybe no reporting is a good thing; if this had happened at a Baptist church and the gunman had blamed all the crazy right-wingers, this would be plastered all over Fox, etc. It's not even on the Fox news site. This gunman attacked DURING A CHILDREN'S MUSICAL at the church. There's some nugget of hypocritical wisdom about the right wing and their love of family, blah blah blah. But I'm a lifetime UU and this is really upsetting.

MethFest is a seattle institution by this point...this'll be what, the fourth one? i think...they've all been great, and if you have any interest in noise or grind or anything of the sort then MethFest will bhook you up with members of the local community.

How can people make fun of such a terrible problem in our inner cities? I've lost friends to this horrible drug and I don't find it funny one bit. If the promoters of this horrid excuse for entertainment think they are intelligent for creating this parody, they are sadly mistaken. I have half a mind to take this to the city council for indecency and being offense. I, as a member of the Seattle Cornish School of High Arts will be forming a protest of Methfest for the entirety of the festival.
