<description><![CDATA[<p>Well, no...pastiche is a matter of interpretation, so saying that something is a veritable pastiche is not automatically redundant.</p>

<p>That said, I was just trying to reconcile the use of "venerable" in this context.  Venerability implies that an item itself is venerated.  If the storyline for Wall-E were lifted wholesale from Shakespeare, the usage might make sense, but here it's a stretch.</p>]]></description>
