Science Today In Lunacy

onFORMER NASA astronaut and moon-walker Dr Edgar Mitchell - a veteran of the Apollo 14 mission - has stunningly claimed aliens exist. And he says extra-terrestrials have visited Earth on several occasions - but the alien contact has been repeatedly covered up by governments for six decades.Dr Mitchell, 77, said during a radio interview that sources at the space agency who had had contact with aliens described the beings as ‘little people who look strange to us.’
…Dr Mitchell, along with with Apollo 14 commander Alan Shepard, holds the record for the longest ever moon walk, at nine hours and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission.
The illness that has taken the aging astronaut? It must be moonsickness.

Howwwwoooooooooooo!
the nerd in me just got very excited. but i'm guessing this guy is just suffering from being old.
Is that the official, scientific, NASA-rific term: ‘little people who look strange to us.’
I like it!

Looks like Frida has a bit of the old moon madness too.
Now I have to listen to Camel.
Frida @10, when you're already apologizing for a sextuple post, it might be better to omit the sig that gives us your name, your website's name, and the link to your website twice each.
Frida, do not ever post here again. Thanks.
Well, do keep in mind, Mitchell was also roundly criticized for attempting "secret" ESP experiments during his trip to the moon. He's also the founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, a non-profit organization created to explore new-agey "human potential" phenomenon and issues.
So, it's really not much of a surprise that he'd make this kind of claim, since it's long been an area of interest for him.
Doesn't mean he's not nutty as my Aunt Rosalie's fruit cake, but at least he's consistent in his nuttiness.
Reminder:
Frida, don't ever post here again.
And because I know you will anyway, USE THE FUCKING WEBSITE INPUT FIELD FOR YOUR SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION.
I wouldn't be surprised.
I don't buy it. Any species intelligent enough to travel through space would be too intelligent to have anything to do with us.
I would expect them to look strange ... but you can find that in most any neighborhood you choose.
Moonwalks are cool, I guess, but nine hours? Boooooooring!
If we're so dismissive of someone who's actually been out of this world, who should we believe? We've been conditioned into disbelief lockstep. The fact that this administration has gotten away with wholesale criminal behavior is a pure example of the American cancer of incuriousness. If these little ETs did indeed reveal themselves, we'd shoot 'em first and feed 'em to pit bulls.
Come on, Rhett, think about the Government. Larry Craig can't even get fucked without everyone knowing. These people do not have the skills to cover up aliens.
@21
that's exactly what they want you to think.
I'm not going to the moon unless this song is on the jukebox.
Now, now, not too long ago lots of people didn't believe in the gay... Maybe there are ‘little people who look strange to us’ who just want to be accepted...
