Epic Fail.

Seriously, the New Yorker was controversial because it was based on many commonly believed LIES about Obama and his wife, whereas this is not based on things people believe, so far as I can tell.

If you're going to do offensive satire, at least get it right!

Giggle. The Art of Dying Indeed.

Though #2 does have a point--this fails to correlate well with the New Yorker's target--pervasive myths about the person or persons depicted. Clearly ya just threw this together on deadline. And Ronnie looks more like he has a headwound than wearing a turban. Still, points for trying.

I'd like a McCain cover with these features:

1. Dementia drool coming out the side of his mouth

2. Weeping melanoma ulcer on his neck

3. His hand hen pecking above a laptop with a giant question mark over his head and a "Duh?" expression on his face

4. George W. "12% approval rating" Bush depicted as a little man whispering instructions in McCain's ear.

5. One hundred twenty-seven tally marks on the wall under the heading "US Years in Iraq".

Oh it would be so sweet if the New Yorker would come out with a cover like this as an October surprise.
