That was a spokesperson? Dang. Talk about setting the bar low.
And dubya was arrested for cocaine possesion. The nation has already lowered the bar. At least Obama appears to have a few brain cells left that are rubbing together. That's more than we can say about dubya.
That is pretty weird, given that W is an admitted former drug addict... I would have thought that pretty much eliminates any potential attacks on Obama about past drug use. But, that would be too logical for the Republicans, I suppose.
mccains' campaign people continue to amaze me. unlike reagan's people, they appear to b as fuzzy-headed a their candidate. if he wins, i'm sure of a fix. i want to go on record with this prediction.
I'm surprised to learn that McCain has never been drunk before in his entire life.
WTF... She went on to say that *admitting* drug use disqualifies people from becoming president.
So the liars are better, I guess? Wow.
And, you know, I guess having a president who admits to having taken drugs in the past sort of points out the glaring idiocy of the drug war, and we can't have that.
This reads exactly like those old coots that dream up those chain emails about secret Muslim Obama Osama America hater baby eater.
How does she feel about the current coke addict/alcoholic that's been in control for the last 8 years.
Stupid cunt.
W did not admit it.
The press lets him get away with it.
It's totally fair to bring up that OBama's a past drug user.
And to ask:
if it's okay that you didn't go to jail, why is it okay that all these people are in jail right now for doing blow, too?
as long as you then demand W and all the rest cop to their prior drug use and ask the same questions of them.
She sounds like someone who really knows what she's talking about when it comes to drug use.
Now, if she'd just pass me a bit of whatever she's been smoking...
Dan Savage advocates for the Iraq War in The Stranger--Oct. 2002
"War may be bad for children and other living things, but there are times when peace is worse for children and other living things, and this is one of those times."
"In the meantime, invading and rebuilding Iraq will not only free the Iraqi people, it will also make the Saudis aware of the consequences they face if they continue to oppress their own people while exporting terrorism and terrorists. The War on Iraq will make it clear to our friends and enemies in the Middle East (and elsewhere) that we mean business: Free your people, reform your societies, liberalize, and democratize... or we're going to come over there, remove you from power, free your people, and reform your societies for ourselves."
You all sound like you can read a coherent message in that. I'm impressed.
