Been there and done that already. Life got in the way.
Hey, come on. Some of us have to get up early on a Friday morning.
Seriously, if circumstances hadn't been wrong I would have been there. I saw them at the same show Nelson raved about, and it was intense and fun. (True: they played so much that my SO, who usually can get through the longest of shows, finally had to go to the ladies' -- and while she was in there they played "Time Of The Season" -- she missed it!)
Ummm, here's how it works: the Zombies suck. Hence nobody went to their show. See how it works?
I woulda been there, but The Future Mrs. Dr. Awesome left town this AM for the weekend. We were otherwise occupied last night. Sorry. I really really like the Zombies, too. But TFMDA comes first.
Man, you had me bouncing around in your pants so much last night at that concert, I feel like I've been through Iraq and back. Settle down, man...
I was working out with Obama.
I would have gone if the band still sounded like they did 40 years ago. Apart from the vocals, they sound like a Zombies cover band.
She wasn't there, therefore I wasn't there.
Kelly O and Ari Spool give Incredible Hulk can of Rize, Incredible Hulk drink Rize, freak out, get bummed out, INCREDIBLE HULK BECOME DESPONDENT HULK!
DESPONDENT HULK WILL CALL IN SICK, DISCONNECT PHONE, NOT LEAVE APARTMENT ALL WEEKEND!
And no, I don't feel like letting it go.
Sleeping. I have a Goddamned job, you dirty hippie. Besides, who are the Zombies?
FUCK el corazon. the awful owners and door staff keep me away...not even the Zombies or NY Dolls...or any other band I'd really love to see could ever get me to part w/my $$ to step through that door.
@ 7 were you around, living in the UK, to see the Zombies 40+ years ago?
I was asleep in the Norse Home with the rest of the Real Zombies Fans.
