…but you can watch the video over and over again in this news report about a teenager who “makes a baby fly,” which has not been removed from YouTube site. Enjoy:

The "teen" needs to be killed slowly.

Cool - Flying Baby videos!

Isn't funny how the newscast points out that the video is no longer on youtube but they themselves show it over and over again. (Of course I am glad that they did because I am a cruel bastard.)

Oh, how DID we ever grow to adulthood without watchdogs, and without major deficits (the president notwithstanding)?

Isn't "baby launching" an event in the Beijing Olympics, or is that limited to "dissident tossing?"

They show the baby getting launched EIGHTEEN (18) TIMES in that news clip, including some slow motion shots.

Pit bulls sans balls don't much bite and, I'll wager, teens sans balls don't much make fly the babies.

At about 1:38 I did let out a little chuckle. I guess the absurdity really kicks in when shown in slow motion after a few dozen normal speed plays. Looks like the baby went bottom first and didn't land on his head as the doctor just before the slow-mo warned.

I wonder if baby assault gets the same inmate-on-inmate treatment as child molestation?

Anon @ #9,

It does if the prison guard yells "slant eyes".

Pardon me "Short Eyes". Apologies for the other one.

That kid needs to have his balls cut off and his dick chopped off.

Then, every single dollar that he ever makes should go to the parents of the baby that he "launched".

Dammit. I laughed a little. I'll hear that 2 second baby-scream in my nightmares tonight.

Let's take a poll. You sicko's who laughed are probably the same sort who want to kill dogs.

Some people just shouldn't be allowed to care for ANY other life forms.

@14, I hate kids and dogs so there you go. Wait for the sequel video "Flying Babies: Flying Pit Bulls"

Oh the hillarity!

@14

No actually if it had been a dog I would have been upset.

Look at it this way the kid will probably grow up to be an acrobat in the circus or something.

Thank you stupid media for making me laugh at child abuse. From now one, edit all your newscasts like Benny Hill.

18: Great, thanks, as if this clip isn't bad enough, I now have "Yakety Sax" running through my head with the baby crying.

Dear God, there are so many people who come off looking bad here...

1. The parents, who left their infant in the care of two teenage boys.

2. The two teenage boys, who were even more stupid and cruel that I remember teenage boys being.

3. The doctor, who can barely supress her "look mom, I'm on TV" smile?

4. The news team, who cut a video replaying the launch 18 times, including slo-mo shots, in a two minute news clip.

5. The commenter who said "actually if it had been a dog I would have been upset".

6. Myself, who did find myself slightly amused by about the 9th replay.

Now I'm not sayin' a gay daddy wouldn't have done such a thing, but the odds of the gay daddy having an ugly inflatable 25 square foot pillow... pretty slim.
Besides babies are all born as birds. Haven't you read Peter Pan.

The clip itself repeated the launch and did the slow motion. Don't blame the news report for that. If you look closely during some of the "repeat" shots, you'll see the status bar at the bottom of the screen *not* jump around. That editing was done by the wacky teens.

Babies are pretty resilient, but that teenager has major issues.

@23: Well, not as resilient as you might think. Brain bleed?

The words that come next to mind are guardian ad litem, as in what the baby needs until Mum and Dad sort this out, because I'm a judgmental bitch about attachment parenting. When my kids were bouncy size, they were either attached to my tits or within 5 feet of them.

That kid is lucky the baby didn't land on his head. A head trauma at that age could result in severe mental retardation and/or quadriplegia. He should be sentenced to change adult diapers and colostomy bags for the rest of his life.

@20 re: 1. The parents, who left their infant in the care of two teenage boys.

Um, that's assuming all SIXTEEN year old boys are complete retards. I'd like to give guys a little credit, my mom's brother babysat me when he was a teenager and frankly there was no baby launching.

@14:

I like dogs too (some of them, at least...poodles and bichon and those yappy little shits have no reason to live) but can't tolerate babies.

So--let's all dump our unwanted babies on--wait for it--YOU!!

You lucky thing!

Call me. The quads need help.

to all the baby-haters: you were babies, too. would you find it as amusing if it was you who got bounced across the room and possibly severely damaged for the rest of your life?

i know, i know: i'm soooo unhip!

I figured it was only a matter of time before some one got their knickers in a twist over this post.

Come on - who hasn't heard of "bouncing a baby boy."

Sorry wolf, you made 'em, you're stuck with them. Now, if you have a dog. I'll gladly take it for a walk for ya.

Bob that's racist. But if you say that, it makes perfectly sense since the the boy who apparantly tossed the baby is white.

Stop the smack dab and go live somewhere else. America is what it is, we don't need guys like you.

Further evidence that all guys should get a vasectomy before they reach sexual maturity. Then, if they want kids, they can get the procedure reversed.

Posted by Barbara | July 5, 2008 6:53 PM

Um, Barbara, I'm not sure what that would accomplish. I mean, I know what you're getting at, but vasectomies don't stop the flow of testosterone or inhibit the chemicals in the brain responsible for those stupid decisions. It would just mean there's no sperm in their ejaculate. That wouldn't exactly prevent more baby flying.
