with 6 months to go, how much of a war could bush&co. actually scare up?

is the plan to take some 'strategic strikes' and then leave the aftermath for obama to clean up?

or do they really think mccain will win and finish up for them?

Bush has boxed himself in a corner. They didn't expect a proxy war with Iran in Afghanistan. Iran has a lot of money. Isreal is bent on an attack. They all may be willing to sacrifice Iran's oil. Look for $10.00/gal. gas.

I've lost a little faith in Hersh - he's been predicting Iran would be attacked *within six months* for over three years now.

i wouldn't get too worked up about the press blowing anybody's cover in iran, after all iran has its own intelligence network and covert operations forces and they have been active in iraq already. i doubt the iranian government is watching cnn trying to figure out us secret policy.
