I think we can call it a baby now, Dom, seeing as it's out of the womb and all.

Palestinian kills three and wounds 40 on Jerusalem rampage, in a bulldozer.

When and Israeli murders an American with a bulldozer, the Israelis call that a "tragic accident." I think we should apply the same rule here.

That baby incident seriously has À l'intérieur written all over it. Check it out, it's a pretty good flick. By the end of the movie, your body count is pretty decent and even though she just had her face completely burned to bloody hell, she cuts that little fucker right out of her belly on the staircase. It's pretty gross. Oh yeah. *Spoilers*

And don't forget Christopher Hitchens Waterboarded!

Can certain members of the Stranger editorial staff be too far behind?

Boy, that Connelly column about Robert Mak is a hoot. I had nearly forgotten about the "Shrove Tuesday Riot".

In time for next year's ballot I will start an Improve Political Discourse Initiative that will deport Tim Eyman to Alabama.

Eric Schnapper is my new hero.

Eric Schnapper has been a lead attorney for the NAACP for many years, and has argued many wonderful cases before the United States Supreme Court--including successful ones ;)

He should be pretty much everybody's hero.

It should be noted that the cause of Darcy Burner's house fire was a faulty lamp, not the deed of a crazed right-winger - which is surely a huge dissapointment to certain Slog commenters.

@9

Agreed entirely, Eric Schnapper seems to be an experienced voice of reason in this issue. unfortunately it doesn't seem like the council will pay much heed to the SCCPAP report or Eric's additional commentary associated with that report.

Of course, I thought the council keeping the final OPARB report secret was an very interesting aside in that article.
