Not wanting to click on Andrew Sullivan, I Googled for another report, but found nothing. Surely a reputable (or reputable-enough) news service would carry this news? As of now, it's only on some gay sites and nothing else.

This is great news - sadly I think it is too late for my partner and me, but we are looking forwards to living in a country that welcomes poz couples and the tax dollars and jobs we bring!

Great news...way overdue, but still good.
Now we just need to get the ban on using federal funds for syringe exchange lifted (passed in 1988 at the insistence of Jesse Helms.

Sorry - didn't want to steal any thunder from the good news of the law repealing - just throwing a bone to the insomniacs =)
I don't find any mention of a repeal anywhere except Sullivan's blog.
Is there another report somewhere?
I'll celebrate when Bush actually signs this bill.
Immigration Equality, the org that did a lot of the work to get this passed, has a bunch of details up: http://immigrationequality.org/

Ellen - you can find the article on bbc.co.uk, search for HIV travel ban
Sullivan blogged about it here: http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2008/07/the-hiv-travel.html
And I am moved each time I read it.
