Are there any programs that will allow folks to help donate money and/or time to help this church and the family of the deceased regain from this?

These are exactly the types of institutions that need our support these days, even if you're a complete atheist.

Even if you just send out an e-mail wishing the TVUUC the best, and let them know that you really appreciate their strength at this time (that is if you feel that way), it would probably accomplish a heck of a lot more than posting snarky comments on SLOG for a few less seconds.

As far as churches go, the TVUUC are certainly one of the GOOD GUYS. Please offer them and the relatives of the deceased your support, however you can.
