Other news today, besides the stunning revelation that they have rap in Tehran and their guys like to rape girls at parties:

1. That Obanma guy is in Afghanistan. Yawn. Wow really not news.

2. He wants to send more troops there; the Nation magazine is highly critical of this. Wow sending more troops, there's nothing to even debate there, right?

3. Al Gore said something recently but the reaction and nonreaction esp. of major candidates and parties is not news.

Yawn, certainly any remaining divisiveness after Obama maxed outs didn't give to HRC isn't news.

The election's in the bag and there's no need to really unite more becaus wehav ethis huge three point lead in the polls and nothing could ever change between now and November.

"Dupe" does not equal "rape." The lyric may be misogynistic (I don't know), but to apply a knee-jerk attribution of rape boast (there, I just coined a phrase) based on a word ("dupe") that is not even in the song (it was Feit's word, not the artist's) is premature, at the very least.

I could dupe you into drinking sarsparilla when you were expecting root beer. Not a crime.

Also, you @2: Start your own blog. It's not like the Stranger staff ignores current events. Not every thread is about the most important issues of the day.

That's pretty interesting that they have dogs in their video. Dogs are generally thought of as unclean in Muslim culture. I wonder if that's part of the "thug" life there.
