Personally, I'll believe these stimulus checks when I see one. On the 25th of June, we got a notice in the mail from the IRS, dated June 22, that said we will definitely receive our check on June 20. We haven't got it yet, but we can't complain for another three weeks. That sequence of dates just deepens my suspicion that Bush's plan is to achieve small government by stealth, by achieving hopelessly incompetent government first.
