Oh, Jesus. I am afraid of heights, and that picture, and just thinking about going up there, is giving me the jeebies something fierce.

I used to be a seating hostess at the restaurant there. It's not that high when you get used to it. Unless you climb to the very top of it by freaking hand.
Then again, there are internal stairs that lead to the top so…

I love the word 'yokel.'

OK, if B & J replaced the flag with the logo that I think they did, SOMEONE BETTER TAKE SOME GOOD GODDAMN PICTURES!

Kelly O: Doesn't that make you kind of an accsexssory to vandalism? Personally I'd be shitting myself that far up. And I sure wouldn't admit to being there.

@7: What are *you* afraid of? Give us the list. It'll be fun. We can spend our time mocking your fears between other relevant posts. Don't say there are none. Some of us know better }:-)>

No, @8. @7 is correct. I am a fucking, excuse me, fuckin' pussy. A weenie-boy. A girlie-man.

I am confused these days by Mr. Poe. Is Mr. Poe really Mr. Poe or is he now a sock puppet making us think Mr. Poe is still with us even though the real Mr. Poe has moved on? Well, I hope it is the original Mr. Poe because I would be sad if he abandoned Slog.

Kelly, I can't believe you filmed on the top of the Space Needle, you are amazing, a-freakin-mazing.

Wish I'd known...I'd have paid good money to have a SAY NO TO BREED BANS flag up there.

Yeah, it's for Sub Pop's 20th anniversary. Pretty cool, I think.

I think it's precious that their outfits coordinate with each other and their straps.

* I just added a photo credit to this post. This photo was actually taken by Sub Popper Steve Manning, using my camera. Though I did go on the roof, I was too chicken shit to get all strapped in and zip-lined on the mid-level. The roof was all I could handle. There were Parallax-esque moments a'plenty. It was all worth it. Watching Poneman and Pavitt's as faces they raised the Sub Pop flag was kind of the coolest thing I've seen in years...

@19: Kelly, I stole this photo and put it on the Bonks. Good to see you last night. Couldn't have been a better time.

Okay... so, a quick question, slightly off topic, but why was there no rainbow flag flying from the Spaceneedle for Gay Pride? It struck me as being distinctly "missing".
