what words/phrases will be in the Sloglossary?

ECB: A humorless, shrill, hypersensitive "writer" for The Stranger?

: Mean, mean commenter and torturer of lame guest Sloggers, especially those named Chelsea.

That should read:

Mr. Poe: mean, mean commenter...

I don't know why that didn't post right. FUCK!

You do realize that having a SLOG feud flow chart will only add fuel to those fires, right? I, personally, would never attempt to ascend in the flow chart hierarchy by, say, announcing my utter indignation about how Mr. Poe always says he can't make it to SLOG Happy, then shows up anyway. No, not I, never.

And don't even get me started on that mean, mean scary tyler moore...

There's a reason I don't read Gawker. Please stop filling all of Slog with crap referencing it. THX

Stealing from Gawker without citation, now copying Gawker?

@2 that is an interesting chart. i would like to see a slog one like that as well. still, any chart is better than no chart (even if it fuels the fires and connects the dots).

@2 @10 Social Networking / Graph Theory

You provide the links. I'll perform the analysis. E.g.

1)Draw circle
2)draw a series of lines emitting from previous circle. The final effect should resemble a childish drawing of a sun.
3)Write Mr Poe's name in middle of the circle.
4)Write names of all other Sloggers on the lines.

Voila!

Slog totally needs a Wiki. Can any of you Microsoft/Amazon temps reading Slog all day set this up? Slog already has so many notable people and trivia, I imagine links to slogwiki on just about every post.

It will also help us archive Slog history. We must never forget Chelsea Alvarez-Bell, ECB's thoughts about wheelchairs on buses, Issur, etc.

Wouldn't this be some other kind of chart? I thought flow involves systems with inputs, outputs, processes.

I didn't attend the last Slog Happy, I won't be attending tonight. I won't be attending the next one, either.

Drink for me.

Poppy,

We prefer the term, "Contract Workers".

@14 - That's an even better idea. I'd already forgotten about Issur's weird
Jew-themed rants...

Hmm. Phrases: ECB flamefest

Enemies:

Fnarf vs WiS (sometimes)

Friends:

WiS & everyone (if you came to SLOG HAPPY you'd know this was true)

"Add Roux"? What the fuck? You don't add a roux, you add TO a roux. You make the roux in the same pan you're going to cook the rest in. What is this, a prison recipe for 8,000 or something?

WiS @19:

WiS & everyone (if you came to SLOG HAPPY you'd know this was true)

Will, if you have to say it about yourself...

Anyone else sense a growing animosity between Fnarf and COMTE? I think we need a dynamic flowchart that can account for the current trends in these relationships. I think it all starts with ecce homo and then spreads outward from there.

@22

What's your Gawker network handle?

Posted by Mr. Poe | July 10, 2008 1:36 PM
25

I'm not going to SLOG Happy tonight unless Mr. Poe knows a place where No Cars Go.

Posted by Cookie W. Monster | July 10, 2008 1:41 PM
26

COMTE is a scooter riding candy assed bitch. Fnarf is merely old and out of touch.

Posted by Bellevue Ave | July 10, 2008 1:42 PM
27

no one really knows who ecce homo is, so he is a bad place to start.

Posted by Bellevue Ave | July 10, 2008 1:46 PM
28

ecce homo is the Man Behind The Curtain...

Posted by michael strangeways | July 10, 2008 2:21 PM
29

@27 - ecce homo is actually Tim Eyman, I thought you knew that ...

@21 - just correcting the misimpression. Anyone who's ever been to SLOG HAPPY knows that most such online "feuds" tend to not be present there - it's super happy fun time for the most part.

Hey, I realized I'm a temp who reads Slog all day.

I'm setting up a wiki that anyone can edit... once (if?) I finish making a basic site I'll e-mail a Slog tip?
