Let's see... how will the left-wing coverage of this compare to the right-wing coverage of Ted Kennedy's brain cancer?

My bet is that the typical right-wing shitbags are going to be whinging about the mean ol' "nutroots" before the day is out.

...actually I don't wish that on anyone, and Novak does have some pretty interesting, though most often disagreeable, opinions. But if you live a life of stress and bitterness, I think a tumor is an entirely unsurprising outcome.

Hope the traitor dies.

But, unlike the CIA assets overseas he exposed to death and torture, I hope he gets pain meds.

And like Marvin Gaye's dad, he'll probably be able to use this as an excuse to escape a conviction in his hit-an-run charge.

having had a friend who went into a seizure on her bike & ran into a car, didn't remember any of it, then was diagnosed with a brain tumor, i now buy that novak had no clue he'd hit anyone.

Best line from the article:

’Learn to read the signs, [bodily orifice]!’ Novak snapped before speeding away.

You guys are some really sick puppies.

I never realized anyone could harbor as much hate in their souls as you do.

I'll bet you grind your teeth all day long.

Well that does make his hit-and-run more forgiveable, though I hope that the guy who he hit gets as good treatment as he does. Our system currently forgets that illness harms not only those infected by it, but often those in their immediate vicinity, too, a point right wingers are all too often act oblivious to.

I am indifferent to his health problems just as I am sure he would be of mine.

"i now buy that novak had no clue he'd hit anyone."

i think that's the whole point. it's a fuckin sham, he probably already knew about the tumor, but now he gets to play it up as if that's why he hit the pedestrian, and he shouldn't go to jail for that. cos the last thing an economy-tanking-republican-agenda-pushing pussy should face is personal fucking responsibility.

Am I at the right site???
Compassion people, you sound like a bunch of Republicans!!!
I've never heard of this guy.
If calling a guy an asshole in traffic is a big deal, all Sloggers are going to burn in the 9th circle. While I generally get a chuckle out of the posts on SLOG, you all sound like you've had a really shitty Monday.
I don't know (as none of you) how serious his brain tumor is...but if someone needs an "excuse," as some of you noted, I believe a brain tumor would be a helluva one.

I guess he'll be joining Ken Lay soon.
