Re: Tried to Play Scrabulous Today?

Annie asks: “Why did I join Facebook again?”

Why, to play with the RNC’s new BarackBook app, of course. It features Obama friends (Rezko, etc.), a status update (“Barack is hoping to settle on an Iraq policy before November”), and favorite Obama videos (RNC attack ads, natch). Sample comment on the Facebook side of things:

This app makes me want to throw up my soul.

I'd rather play Building The Bridge To Nowhere with indicted co-conspirator Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK)

See, it's apps like this that prove how out of it McCain is. McCain isn't hep enough to come up with bullpucky like this.

"Computer-savvy" cuts both ways.

Was wondering where you'd been all day, @4. Seemed kinda quiet without you.

Hey -- I'm at work and shouldn't even be posting this, but I'm curious to not see anything on SLOG about this freak in Tennessee who burst into a UU church and killed a couple people and wounded others during a friggin' children's musical. Apparently he was upset because the liberals were running the country and he couldn't get a job. I'm just not seeing anything about this anywhere (granted the places I normally look are only DailyKos, Slog and sfgate.com). If this had happened in a Baptist church, it would be political fodder for the right and I guess part of me is glad that the left isn't saying "look -- see how oppressed we are?" when this is clearly one f*cked up idiot and not all conservatives.

But man, a guy breaking in during a CHILDREN'S MUSICAL and shooting people at a UU church and blaming liberals. Isn't that a monkey barrel of right-wing contradictions and hypocrisy?

@7 & 8,

The story was slogged yesterday. You'll probably have to go back a page or two to find it.

Hah I liked "ball-less NO-Bama" better just added that extra bit of stupid to make the spammer interesting rather than just stupid.

Yeah, @9 is right, we're so fast we already talked that one to death.

I would like to apologize for my comment above @3, which doesn't even begin to make sense. Not even I can tell what point I was trying to make, if any. I'm sorry. I've let the Slog down.

Bah, try reading ExposeObama.

Or for that matter, HCSFJM.

Never apologize - it just looks bad when you do, Fnarf.

Stiff upper lip ...
