I mean, really?, isn't the whole point of endorsements to be helping people decide who the better candidate is? If party folks can't make a decision on who they think is better, how is the average voter supposed to decide?

Imagine if the Muni League, SEAMEC, The Stranger, and others just decided not to actually choose or rate people.

You think voters are going to take the time to educate themselves on all of the candidates?

It's also to say to voters "these are real Dems".

But then, just ask Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Terry Bergeson why she didn/t get endorsed by the KC Dems ...

A two-thirds vote was required. White was overwhelmingly endorsed by a vote of something like 40 to 1. Pollett squeeked by with a vote of something like 16 to 7.
