As Mayor Nickels speechified about ugly townhomes, Seattle hiphop’s #1 hitmaker Jake One was in one of them- center top window to be exact. Can’t see what he’s holding up? It’s one of these:

I believe he is standing in front of what he considers a non-ugly townhouse ( to provide some positive reinforcement.) They're on 14th and Olive St and I agree that they are pretty decent.
I don't think it qualifies as pwnage if you have to post it here and explain it to us - which you do, because no one who wasn't looking for that blurry blob in the top center window would have noticed it.
Most PWNage goes on unidentified to the masses... you should feel lucky that you've been put up on game.

jonglix @6, sorry but I disagree; the building behind Nickels is straight up ugly.
Either busy or banal alone could be forgiven, but both together is a no-go.
Wow that podium is something though, do they haul that to all his outdoor speeches? Is it really inlaid wood? Why have I not noticed it in other pictures of his speechifying before?
It will be a fucking tragedy if they don't find a way to retire Gary's number at the Key in front of the fans.
@11 - I don't think it fits into the plug-in hybrid Prius that the city owns - my guess is that's why he wants that monster SUV - to put the podium in.
I don't get it.
@10 - I'm with you. That building is ass-ugly. And I know neutral colors are supposed to sell better and all, but primer gray?
