Ugh. Shampoo is the nadir of overrated '70s tripe.

I've wondered if that Israeli Commando turned Hairdresser is based on Shampoo? Just as Austin Powers is based on certain Bond films.

Glad that IMAX is freeing up for Batman - unlike the 3D version of Journey to the Center of the Earth (which only makes sense in 3D), Batman is enhanced in IMAX and apparently they got the aspect ratios right, from what I hear.

And the New Yorker film critic hated Mamma Mia! (but was the only person in the theater to do so, which means it's probably great, and why you don't send a modern dance/ballet critic to review musicals).

#84 page 446 in Congressional Quarterly's Guide to the Supreme Court Second Edition Elder Witt states:

Id. at 568. See also
Cox Broadcasting v. Cohen, 420 U.S. 469 (1975)

Directly above that is # 83 and running that is Nebraska Press Association v. Stuart, 427 U.S. 539 at 559 (1976).

I don't know what that means to Antonin Scalia today, and I will say this...

If I was a law clerk that could swing into "heavy cloud no rain" ( Sting 10 Sumners Tales ) I'd want to know what the fuck I was gonna do when I can still see the Acadamy Awards show and Ellen Degeneress looking for a blunt in suck-up machine... oh ya... and don't forget Warren Beatty's Speech either....

and another thing.... if I could shampoo you would you want to shampoo me as well my little lipchen?

Gawd what i'd give for a little hairdoo now.

P.S.,

I hope your female will, cause if your a DAWG>>> you'd better be post grad short 5-4, and thick brunette hair upstairs with roundish glasses checking in on the earthquake I'm gonna imagine giving you while you look for spies in a Carly Simon song from the parkmaster Ronni.

Is it just me, or did the earthquake really mess up the minds of our bloggers?

I've found that Lindy West encapsulated exactly the way I feel about Mamma Mia:

Mamma Mia entertained the shit out of me.

Water Lilies is a great movie, just don't be distracted by all the pervy (in a bad way) men drooling over the adolescent girls in bathing suits.

Shampoo is awesome - funny, harshly honest, pitch-perfect historically and feels almost overheard. If (like me) you like the idea of Altman but can't stand the execution, this is your movie.

I hope that link works. If you don't get your Imax Dark Knight tickets at LEAST a day or two ahead of time, you're not going to see the movie the day you want to see it. I've worked at this Imax for almost 6 years and no other big movie has done this well. Sell outs EVERY DAY? Totally unheard of.

Altman is God.

Nashville is the Great American Film.

No arguments.

and, Mamma Mia is one of those endearingly crappy movies that you'll be watching for the rest of your life.
