On what are you basing your assumption that Blayne "lost"?

If it's that weird "contestant cut schedule" that got leaked a couple weeks back, okay.

If it's Blayne's presence at his old job, no fair--all PR contestants are sent back to their normal lives during the series run, so no one can guess the winner by who's home and who's not....

@4, basing it on the leak and I know when he goes home but I will keep that quiet. So "watch what happens!"

Goddamnit Slog... I am too ADD for y'all to keep reeling me back in every two minutes with this stuff. I'm going to get fired, for chrissake. Let me work.

That said, thanks for forcing me to look up a new word Ziggity!

"Portmanteau word" is used to describe a linguistic blend, namely "a word formed by blending sounds from two or more distinct words and combining their meanings".[1]

Such a definition of "portmanteau word" overlaps with the grammatical term contraction, and linguists avoid using the former term in such cases. As an example: the words do + not become the contraction don't, a single word that represents the meaning of the combined words.

A humorous synonym for "portmanteau word" is "frankenword", itself a portmanteau word, blending "Frankenstein" and "word".[

I'm a learner for life! (A "lifelearner" if you will)

So....is 'Brangelina' a portmanteau word?

"Brangelina" is actually borrowed from the word used to describe the intestinal blockage you can get if you eat too many bran muffins all at once.

@7, I think they stopped doing it since Project Runway's final good season was season 3. It jumped shark and this season is not starting off with any really good drama, though it is still early.

I was going to watch it tonight and see if shit starts hitting the fan. By the third episode if anything is going to happen it should start by now.

I beg to differ. I think this season has an excellent cast, much better than S4. For drama and scrumptiousness at least. Sure, a couple of the players are dickwads, but that's what you WANT. I think we're going to see fireworks tonight.

tanorexia seems wrong for someone who is tan. wouldn't it be better used for someone who avoids tanning, like most of this city.
