If You Thought That New Yorker Cover Was Bad…

posted by on July 15 at 18:12 PM

…then you should really check out this e-mail that’s circulating across the Internet. A friend forwarded it to me, and she got it as part of an e-mail chain, so God only knows where it came from, but it’s called “The Jihad Candidate” and it’s gotten around—a Google search shows 9,050 hits for “jihad candidate” alone. The piece is about Barack Obama, and its 100% racist, xenophobic goodness makes that cartoon on the cover of the New Yorker look like it could be on… well.. the cover of the New Yorker.

A choice bit (sic throughout):

Find a candidate who changes his American name of Barry to the Muslim name of Barak Hussein Obama, and dares anyone to question his true ties under the banner of ‘racism’. Nurture this candidate in an atmosphere of anti-white American teaching and surround him with Islamic teachers. Provide him with a bitter, racist, anti-white, anti-American wife, and supply him with Muslim middle east connections and Islamic monies. Allow him to be clever enough to get away with his anti-white rhetoric and proclaim he will give $834 billion taxpayer dollars to the Muslim controlled United Nations for use in Africa.

Aw, snap! But there’s more…

Why has the American main stream media clammed-up on any negative reporting on Barak Hussein Obama? Why will they print Hillary Rodham Clinton’s name but never write his middle name? Is it not his name? Why, suddenly, is ANY information about this candidate not coming from main stream media, but from the blogosphere by citizens seeking facts and the truth? Why isn’t our media connecting the dots with Islam? Why do they focus on ‘those bad American soldiers’ while Islam slaughters non Muslims daily in 44 countries around the globe?

They say “the truth” is more false than it is true. So if a Barack Obama conspiracy and the idea that all Muslims are evil is already the “truth”, there’s no point in letting a few “facts” get in the way. Anyway, for your reading pleasure, here’s a link to author Rich Carroll’s awesome website I sent Carroll an e-mail the other day asking if he’d like to chat, but I haven’t heard back yet. Although Amazon is all sold out of “Terrorists’ Crossing,” Carroll’s novel about Muslims who dress up as Mexicans and sneak over the border to steal our freedom, you can read the rest of his ridiculous work on the website. And try not to spiral into a bout of depression afterward, if you can help it.

The New Yorker is a literary humor magazine. They publish dozens of issues a year. Many issues have covers. Many covers are satirical. Sometimes they are funny. Sometimes they are not funny.

The internets are some kind of interconnected tubes. Many of the tubes connect to conspiracy theorists and their theories. Some tubes go to the Vatican and some tubes go to The Stranger. Some go here. Some go there.

I am going shopping. With a reusable bag.

Why will they print Hillary Rodham Clinton’s name but never write his middle name?

I don't ever recall the MSM printing "Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton," do you?

Pssst, her middle name is Diane, in case you were wondering.

You're almost right @ 3. I'm a moslem posing as a mesican.

Also, the Muslim controlled United Nations? Who knew?

What? You didn't love the sly sideways glance of the Barackster on that wicked New Yorker cover? You can really track who's who by whether people find it tastelessly funny or a "down right indignity", suddenly becoming their own "Stalinist Grandpas". (There is no laughter under the high flying red banner, by the way). There seems to be a continuum for senses of humor -- the more doctrinaire one is, the less humor one finds in satire about your own side. Or the more downright devoid of humor. Laughter is uplifting, smirking ain't. The humorless have no trouble smirking, tho'. It must use fewer muscles. (I know it uses fewer grey cells). Let's see who is laughing when some of us, whoever that may be, get our wish on election day. As they say, be careful what you wish for.

Muslims sneaking over the border disguised as Mexicans? Well, that would certainly explain why Taco Del Mar recently added falafel to its menu...

@4: That's what surprised me! I had no idea that the Muslims controlled the UN. I guess that's why so many Muslim nations are permanent members of the security council...

I've never read or heard the MSM report McCain's middle name, but I'm pretty sure it's Vlad the Impaler.

I think the prospect of an intelligent president must be as shocking to these people as the prospect of a negro one.

I got that email, but I couldn't reply, as I'd already received an email from an African Prince promising me money from an inheritance.

Mike in MO, it's not Muslims who control the UN, it's Jews.

Jews also control the banks, the media, and are behind the Masons, the CFR, and the Trilateral Commission.

All of which Obama supports.

Which means Obama is really a Jew, not a Muslim.

Sidney! McCain's middle name is Sidney!

Oh, that'd be great if Obama brought up that sissy middle name... oh wait, Obama has gone by Barry...

Barry vs. Sidney... they're both secret Jews, aren't they?

I've been gone for awhile (rainbow gathering) it's good to be back on condotal hill.

anyway, most people out there weather left or right are authoritarian basterds if there political orthedoxy is skewed in some way

I belive leftists are worse though because they belive that there views represent "freedom" like right wingers. only instead of moveing on to another subject besides politics and trying to find commen ground (my republican friends are this way) they will tear into you and even use violence because they truely belive you are an evil faciest pig who likes the smell of napalmned babies...many of them cant seem to look past a persons political views because there idenity is so wraped up in being "radical" that it has become there life.

as for the picture itsself? mildly amusing.

ugh reading this e-mail makes my brain hurt.

for the last time: michelle obama cannot be racist. she can damn the white race. she can be a black nationalist. she can threaten to take away white voting rights or civil liberties or whatever the fuck these fear-mongers think she's going to do. but she can only be PREJUDICED. never racist. not in this country, with this country's history and current power structure. please, find a new word to misuse.

it almost makes me miss for those reagan salad days and the term "reverse racism." at least that verbal fallacy paid lip service to the fact that american racism is usually perpetuated by whites

on a wierd side note does anyone else find it a sad commentary on how we judge people in america when we call barack and he call's himself "black"?
think about it. except fo his name and the pigment in his skin his father didint do shit for him, just ditched him and his mother...obama was raised by his WHITE mother, his WHITE grandparents and his IDONESIAN step realitives...culturaly he is white with a smattering of the south sea's.
but why does he call himself black?
well do you think that when people first met him, looked him in the eye and shoke his hand (thats if they did so) that they judged him as a well spoken ,well traveled civilised man or a black guy who should be pounding bass, talking jive and either being comic relief or a threat, a ni--er in other words? so of course when few will accept and embrace you as you are culturaly and judge and catagorize you as somthing alien, then your going to embrace it. barack obama did this..in a seemingly desperate and awkward way, which is why there's all this talk of him not being "black enough". culture is more important then pigment...barck obama is an intelligent, well travled, classy, civilised man catagorized as belonging in a culture which glorifies ignorance, disreguard for familys and women and petty violence

now before you start screaming "racism" I've kicked it with and know an assload of kick ass black people who are chill to be around and dont act like a piece of trash
and ion the other side of the coin I've had the misfortune of knowing a hella hella hellof ton of white scum who should be steralized to save civilisation... when I say civilisation, i dont mean the enviromental destruction, imperialism, and general rape pillage and opress I mean the concepts of "the golden rule"treating people with dignaty, love and respect, shareing and working towards a commen goal....shit thats not civilisation...what is that?

CP @14

Seeing how John McCain's middle name is Sidney, I request that Dan Savage use his Savage Love column to popularize the initials JSM--pronounced "jism"--for speaking of McCain.

People like you make me very sad. You want to know why Muslims have become radical, suicidal, murderous extremist? You want to know why there are black people who cannot be proud of this nation? It's white people.

@16, black people can absolutely be racist.

They can.

So can hispanics, asians, whatever.

It's part of being human.

Having said that, it's also true that black people - at least in America - have never been in a position to use the government to discriminate against whites or anyone else.

Ultimately, however, it doesn't matter what race it comes out of. It's still the same poison.

@ 23
you wrote: it's also true that black people - at least in America - have never been in a position to use the government to discriminate against whites or anyone else

i wrote (earlier): not in this country, with this country's history and current power structure.

so um, we are pretty much in agreement? i also don't think michelle obama has ever said anything "poisonous" regarding white people. everything she has said or written has been merely calling out the racist white power structure or reminding people racism still exists. which, to some people, somehow gets interpreted as being racist.
