Since when did criticism become an "attack"? When you are in politics and you say something as dumb as what Michelle Obama said you will be criticized. Democrats have no problem taking it to the family members of Republicans (i.e. the Bush daughters)

I should add that this "don't pick on the wives!" stuff always smacks a little of sexism to me. I mean, maybe if Gregoire's husband had said something ripe for attack by Rossi we'd be hearing "don't pick on the husband!", but I sorta doubt it. Men, you know, can stand up for their own opinions (which they undoubtedly have).

Regarding this particular video and article this is not an ATTACK. Criticism of someone who is actively campaigning for a Presidential candidate, family or not, is and should be open to criticism for things they say on the trail.

Obama supporters just get up in arms about all this crap because they can't handle criticism of their messiah candidate.

Yes, stunningly, she did. And as an aside, she's not even correct. If you count the number of people who have died in a war for their country, the highest death toll is probably in Russia, perhaps China. And if you only include democracies, then Britain.
