Not good enough. You're quoting a right wing columnist who supports McCain. Attributing it to the Post alone makes the quotation out to be real journalism, which it's not.

What? Obama is not fighting back against that concept. His entire election strategy is based on that concept! If he has any sense, he'll continue to exploit it to the hilt, then proceed to be the kind of do-nothing-but-look-fabulous president that JFK was.

Let's face it, though, Krauthammer & Co.'s only prayer this election cycle is character assassination. (Well, that and an appeal to fear and inertia and any other hot buttons in the reptilian parts of our brains.) When it comes to the Republicans' record or the state of this nation or any of the major issues confronting this country, Obama has McCain whupped. And you know it.

The fact the polls are still so close is an indication that psychology may still triumph over policy. So I can understand why the conservative commentariat is going to turn into almost a satire of itself this year.

Makes me very nervous about November. As I stated during the primaries, we just don't know all the stuff that will come out about Obama and his past. We also could not have predicted the FISA vote, or any future blunders.

And now the young people so enamoured with him are already becoming dissolutioned. And it's not even August. Christ.
