Presumably, it's his way of proving the concept that small-scale production can generate small, but steady income-streams that, while not in the range of summer mega-blockbusters, nevertheless justify the expenditure of modest amounts of capital, IF the ROI meets a certain level of expectation.

My guess is, if this returns more than 100% ROI, it could be considered a qualified success.
