I'd also like to point out that "I **heart** S-A-T-I-N" doesn't mean "I love Satan".

Just an FYI for any Marlyn Manson fans out there.

"Rebecca" in the comments there has a good one: the drunk sorority chick who answers to "Jewelz" getting a big "JEW LEZ".

It's quite shocking how cavalier some people are about making permanent marks on their bodies. PROOFREADING ISN'T THAT HARD.

My first thought when seeing the "In Loving Memory" tattoo was, "well, depending how long ago she kicked, it might be a pretty good likeness".

Now it's true that I'm easily entertained - but this is some funny stuff! Thanks for sharing! I think lots of funny stuff should be posted at 3amish for all the insomniacs too. Then they'll fall asleep to happy dreams (and the world will burst into song and we'll all slide down a rainbow - I know - I went too far. When should've I stopped??)

I laughed myself sick over the "In Loving Memory" one.

The wall around the graveyard
Says that SATIN LIVES IN HELL
Though they may love the devil
His disciples sure can't spell
So what do I do then?
I guess I'll put the A in there
And show 'em how to sin...

No, they shouldn't have copy editors, so that douchebags who can't spell can continue embarrassing themselves and amusing the rest of us for all time.

Most people consider tattoos an important part of their individuality and think long and hard before getting one. Anyone who can't spellcheck before getting their My Chemical Romance lyrics permanently marked deserves the shame.

Wow. The ones based on photography are a special kind of terrible.

The best part are that the ones that are so narcissistic and anti social also have misspellings.

There are some tattoo artists who can do really, really good portraits based on photos (Kat Von D being one of them). These are not examples of their work.

Although, to be honest, I don't think I'd get a portrait tattoo from even the best artists....they kinda freak me out.

Unless someone is just pulling their design directly out of a flash book, don't most people bring in their own artwork?

So, really, if some drunk sorority girl comes in with her tramp stamp design misspelled, why should the inker be forced to play grammar cop? In fact, I'd say it serves you right if you're either too drunk or too stupid at the time to notice the error.

Live with it, or, spend BIG $$ on the laser removal, your choice.

I liked the 6th one. It could have been about a girls partners... good line for a song.
