There was a very similar piece on a balcony across the train tracks at S Washington St and 4th Ave S about four or five years ago -- any idea if it's by the same artist? I was always intrigued by it.
I'm sick of Butterfield's horses. The first one I saw many years ago- okay, kinda cool. But she's done pretty much the same thing for a loonngg while. I'd love to see one of her horses with an erect horse cock hanging down.
"Untitled" (3337)---I'm guessing she's made 3337 of these beautiful horses....
More neigh than yea, I'm afraid.
ugh. another fucking butterfield horse. just what the art world needs: more stale, repetitive, non-challenging, pretty uselessness. I'm sure it'll sell immediately.
She makes these horses well. I'll give her that. One has to admire the obsession, I suppose.
Not my idea of interesting, though.
@5: they all did, before the doors opened.
@1, that's the back of Kucera Gallery you were looking at. Same artist, same gallery.
@6 Her assistants make the horses very well. That bitch dont weld!
And she makes REAL MONEY off of these things. Small table top ones go for $91,000.
