I know you shouldn't judge a show from a publicity shot, but that looks pretty terrible.
I saw it in Berkeley and found it mostly enjoyable. Still, some did leave at intermission.
Will she get away with smoking clove cigs on stage up there?
I'm only going if she puts her hair up in those giant Princess Leia cinnamon buns on each side of her head.
Eh. Sandra Tsing Loh's show at the Rep was all right.
OMG I have GOT to get tickets.
You got dirty laundry? That's what laundromats are for! This bottom-feeding gak is ridiculous. I agree with WT@3: I want to see the cinnamon-bun hairdo.
People smoke on stage all the time...they were smoking up a storm when they did The Women last fall at A.C.T...
She is an AMAZING speaker. One of those people who just captures you from the moment she starts talking. It's a must-see show.
Wow, this sounds like a knee-slapping laugh-riot, alright.
Although, given the average age of a Rep subscriber, finding out what to do when you wake up next to a corpse could actually have some educational value.
I'm totally going.
And @4, I used to love her when she did stuff on KCRW in LA, but now she kind of grates on me...
Comte wins!
And on March 28-29 @ McCaw Hall, you'll have an opportunity to compare and contrast Princess Leia with her mother, Debbie Reynolds, who's appearing with Seattle Men's Chorus. In the meantime, here's an offering from Carrie:

Wait. Why does [sic] appear after hilarious? It's a totally proper use of an. Well, if you speak English.
Good grief, the comedian's a bear!!
I love my old audiobook tapes of her reading from her early tomes.
