Well that settles it. I'm voting for Lenora Fulani. Strange I can believe in!
Eli, see:

any DNC ads, or do you guys just post the RNC ads?
McCain is an unstable grampy who has no moral bearings whatsoever. He's addicted to gambling, called his wife a cunt, and is disliked by many who know him best. His campaign apparatus is a shambles, and he wants to continue Iraq, end abortion, and fuck us all over. He doesn't know how to use a computer (!!) and has no idea what to do about jobs or the economy, by his own admission.
In short, McCain's a crazy old man.
The RNC cannot base their attack ads on reversing one's position. That is one of McCain's greatest and most obvious failings. This ad didn't even show Obama's response. Ads like this will not yield many votes. They should stick to the images of the young, fighter pilot McCain of yesteryear. At least that evokes an actual response in people.
I love how the comments so far don't say a thing about the actual subject matter of this post but instead change the subject and talk about McCain hahaha.
Face it folks: he's a shmuck politician like all the rest. It's the ole' bait-n-switch. In the primaries we were led to believe he was JFK, Jesus, and Santa Claus all rolled in to one.
Buahahahahahahahahaha.
Nonetheless... I'll vote for him. But shoot, I'd have been happier with Clinton now. At least she didn't BS us, she was going with exactly the same line she would have gone with in the general. Obama won by going waaaaay left of her. Idiotic.
you're right phil, i just need to face the facts. you called it, and for that, i'm sorry.
We get it, guys. You wanted Hillary. You lost. You're bitter. You've become defeatist. Really, we get it.
If only you became a little bit more defeatist, then you'd shut up entirely.
"In the primaries we were led to believe he was JFK, Jesus, and Santa Claus all rolled in to one."
Led by whom, Phil? Who had this power?
Or was it simply naïvité, white guilt, black hope, youthful ignorance, Lefty lunacy, youthful hope, a search for a candidate to reflect our better natures, a lazy surrender of one's responsibility to know the truth about the candidates...all of these? None of these?
The chickens of mass hysteria are coming home to roost in farmer Obama's straw-strewn coop of reality. Hope you like eggs.
Waaaaay left of her, huh? Really? All during the primary I was struck by how similar their positions were on most of the issues--except the war. In fact, I can remember reading articles about it in the press, too. That's not why I supported Obama. It never was. One couldn't trust Hillary "Dodging Bullets on the Tarmac" Clinton. I wasn't impressed by her horribly-run campaign or by her "you owe me this" attitude. And then there was her campaign's constantly shifting raison d'etre. It was sad, really.
If you're disappointed in Obama now because of a couple Republican talking points, then I can't help you. Nobody can.
well now that you pointed out they changed the subject by talking about McCain they cleverly changed the change the subject subject to Hillary.
Damn! So devious. No one will spot it!
But will it change Obama's stand on Gay Marriage so people can march for him, Eli?
@10 I could of said it better myself.
So it's down to this - Slog's Hillary dead-enders happily doing the RNC's work. Nice job, Eli and Erica.
@13 -- First of all, here's a musical introduction that captures the feeling I have about your post: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMi-hnHATzA
Now, sir, I think you're grossly mistaken if you try to cast Eli as a Hillary dead-ender. I think he's done a decent job of balancing his coverage, but I would have to say he tends to skew Obama when he skews at all. So casting him as an HRC dead-ender betrays your lack of familiarity with his work.
