I'm not.
@1: Nor are you afraid to be a hypocrite.
Sen. King ran in a 2007 special election against then-Sen. Jim Clements (R), who King beat by alleging that Clements was too moderate. King ran as the ultra-far right candidate, and even he is afraid to be a Republican.
Speaking of that district, Vickie Ybarra is running a strong and credible campaign as a Democrat to represent the 14th District (Yakima).
Too late.
Successful rats jumped off the sinking ship of Republicantism last year ....
my first girlfriend's stepdad was named Curtis King. i "borrowed" his copy of Highway 61 Revisited & the Rocky Horror soundtrack.
I'm not really surprised that some republicans are distancing themselves from that somewhat tarnished label. But what I find totally bizarre is the Obama-esque logo and color scheme on King's signs. He's more than simply trying to be quiet about his party affiliation. He's trying to ride Obama's coat-tails.
I actually think it is a good omen that republicans show this kind of desperation.
I guess the Republican Party didn't endorse him??? I think the brand that you run under is pretty important for voters.

I'd agree that he ran to the right of Clements, but you need more proof than that of King being an ultra-rightist. This is a guy who voted on this year's domestic partnership bill despite that he's in a conservative central WA district.

She is, though Ron Bonlender also ran a credible campaign there two years ago and lost by 20 points. Ybarra should win the primary as she's the only non-Republican running in a large field, but even good Democrats can't win in that district.
For the DP bill, rather.
