Thanks.

so Obama gave her a $2300 check. Nice.

I trust people understand how this works.

One third of Obama's donations are from people who gave $1,000 or more. He has tons of small donors and lots of big, fat richy rich donors, too.

Good.

For the ones who have maxed out to him at $2300 they can't give any more. But they can give $2300 to Hillary.

So why do that?

Because when her maxed out donors see that dough coming in to her, they will start giving $2300 to Obama.

So in reality when the maxed out OBama donors give to her....they are really enabling HIM to get more money.

Bravo! to a couple of pols doing politics together very intelligently.

As T says, "one hand washes the other."
Capiche?

Hillary is awfully gracious. Swallowing your pride like that can't be easy, even for a paycheck.

PC... yeah we and the rest of the American people are dumb but we're not THAT much stupider than you. For all you other knuckle draggers out there: rather than giving her money directly if he enjoins his supporters to give her money the total giving is doubled to 4600.

FWIW I've given 300 so far & I'll probably give more. I'm aware that I have a lot more resources than some people to be sure, but a $2300 isn't exactly buy favors from the president money, nor does it require a "fat cat".

OK then.

So, is it possible that the Democratic is not destroyed after all? Is it really possible?

Moving pictures are all well and good, but they'll never replace the stereopticon.

Say "YES" to War on Iraq by Dan Savage Oct. 2002

"War may be bad for children and other living things, but there are times when peace is worse for children and other living things, and this is one of those times."

"The War on Iraq will make it clear to our friends and enemies in the Middle East (and elsewhere) that we mean business: Free your people, reform your societies, liberalize, and democratize... or we're going to come over there, remove you from power, free your people, and reform your societies for ourselves."

Washington Post June 27, 2008

"Bomb Kills Marines, Iraqi Tribal Leaders
At Least 40 Die in Two Separate Attacks"
