I totally agree. In the larger sense, we all have very similar social experiences, whether we grew up in the bush, or in Manhattan. There's rarely more than 20-some actors in any social group - everything else is your peripheral environment.

I guess, if by "creatures of habit" they mean "have a job and a home."
