"Gays! Not going anywhere. Now more of them than ever. More gay-identified children than ever—whole school busses of them!"

Curse you for raping the minds of our poor, poor innocent children! Curse you for indoctrinating innocents into homosexualism!

I dunno. The purple bus with the lion people was kinda cool. I was tremendously disappointed with the Northwest Bears, however, who looked like fat old guys wearing windshield sunshades, which they were.

Yes, just what we need, more slow-moving large-engined trucks and large vehicles with idling engines moving slowly down the street with nice big carbon footprints.

What did people do for "parades" before the combustion-engine? Did parades suck until we had vehicles?

I would like to see a return to " The traditional Gay march". At 11am next June 29th, 2009, all of Gay Seattle with the balls to be seen in public, donates $5 buck to SOaP before the Parade (for those needed porta potties) and then hits 4th Ave and walks through town. NO floats, NO trucks, NO Motorized anything. Just Gay Seattle out in force walking.

Snore... gays are boring. But they can fold towels at Bed, Bath & Beyond like no one's business! BTW: The kids weren't accepting you. Don't get all full of yourself.

How do the so hip Frizellies of the world think two grand is a big deal? The Chorus has a 500,000 fundraiser as do GSBA and HRC.

Christopher, go build the float of your dreams and enter it next year. Start tomorrow. It is OK, you need not suffer any longer with all this pent up desire.

Something you can steer around to all the Sea Fair events..... tons of them all over the city

I agree, where the hell were the floats this year?!?!

But it was hot and the beer garden was great. Several hot guys and a couple of former hot guys who have packed on a few pounds around the belly since last year. (You know who you are; join a gym!)

um maybe the gas prices kept the floats away. wtf is the stranger supporting that blatant waste of gas. you should be happy more homos were walking. maybe you could give a prize to bicycle powered floats.
