Richardson did not perform well in the debates. Obama practically had to nudge him awake at one point and tell him the question that he had missed. He will get something for sticking his neck out, but not VP.

Edwards already said no.

The previous article on Webb has soured me on him, although he has many good qualifications.

It won't be Hillary. It just won't. And I don't think any other woman could fill the position without having people be upset that - if he's picking a woman for his running mate, why didn't he pick Hillary. It would just create bad feelings.

I'm going with Clark. While he won't automatically carry a state, he balances all of Obama's weaker spots and he'll make a dent with the older, yellow ribbon, Fox News watching set. Hell, he's a Fox News analyst. There's very little damage that deceitful, conspiracy chain emails could do to him.
