It's too bad companies have to be ashamed of good advertising in this country. That sure makes teens take more notice of JCPenny than their usual fare.

Not that impressed. It didn't do much to show off their clothes, which is kind of important in an ad for a clothes store.

@6 True, but it did show how easy those clothes were to take off and put on in pressure situations. Some kids look for that.

the ad is all well and good, but the moms are the ones taking their teens to jc penny to buy those clothes, so they are targeting the wrong audience here.

if i was a mom, i wouldn't take my kids to shop at a store that promoted mutiny against me.

Basically, what this ad says is: any parent who lets a couple of randy teenagers "just go watch TV in the basement" is too clueless to shop anywhere BUT J.C. Penny.

Most teens are having sex at home after school when their parents are at work anyway. The kids know when and where to do it, its not a secret. If anything this add would make parents more likely to ask about their child's sex life.

I'm pretty sure that Saatchi & Saatchi is based in London. No offense, my American friends, but it's hard to imagine that any ad company catering to American retailers would have the chutzpah to conceive of something like that, i.e. an ad so simple but so provocative and so fucking brilliant.

Big bonus points for the music, which sounds like Philip Glass. Loved it!
