...the Taliban also just pulled off a massive prison break in Afghanistan - as I recall they sprung over 1000 inmates, of whom 1/3 were estimated to be Taliban/suicide bombers caught before they did the deed/etc (granted, the latter figure is suspect).

Still, though, it sure sounds like things are going swimmingly for the US and it allies there, huh?
