I for one don't miss Mr. Rogers at all. He's the one who helped brain-wash a generation into believing they and their children were 'special'. And unless they ride the short bus to school, your kids aren't special, they're just ordinary/average.

Mr Rogers acknowledged that people are special in their own ways. What their parents did with that info is a different story.

I like the time capsule aspect of that Mr, Rogers photo. Those may look like videos on his media shelf, but I suspect that Mr. R had a bitchin' collection of 8-track tapes.

@7, the time capsule effect is based on the passage of time. And that's Koko's swingin' primate pad in CA, approx. early 1998.

Also, I'd trust a gorilla to put VHS tapes into a slot more than I would them putting a DVD onto a tray...

And note that sagital crest on Koko! Females can have sagittal crests, too, just not as big as on male gorillas. More a function of body weight than anything. Keep that in mind if you ever see one of the very large great apes endemic to the PacNW.
