“A midnight [bike] race along a salmon stream is probably a pretty bad idea when the salmon are there.”

Not because the salmon are a threatóno, it’s the bears feeding on salmon that charge, tackle, and maul the occasional contestant.

Just remember, when biking along the Fraser river, that running away doesn't work too well, unless you can peddle real real fast.
