<description> Today&apos;s Pride Parade was fantastically well attended despite the hot hot heat. The Seattle Times is estimating 400,000 attended. For those of us in the parade, it was a grueling trek down Fourth Avenue, which was lined with masses of smiling people. The heat off the pavement was intense and the street was littered with globs of melting chocolate. Attendees bearing squirt guns helped us fend off heatstroke.
