“Our gal still maybe ‘Madame Presdient’”

posted by on June 10 at 15:08 PM

Over on this hideous formerly pro-Hillary/now pro-McCain website, the comments are abuzz with intelligent political discourse.

Or not.

One new anti-Obama poster asks the domain master, whose name appears to be Ed:

Ed. Love the site and its links. I was just wondering how secure it is. If one was to donate, is there a way your site can be hacked and info gotten by the Obama camp? Thanks Mary

Ed replies:

Mary, this site is ran threw the homestead servers. They are the most secure in the world. Obama people have tried and fail to hack this web site. Also as to the money part, The most secure way in the world to send money is threw paypal. I am not stupid like the obama people think, I have secured that will let them look but cannot touch. Ed

Another lady wrote in with a potential scandal:

Hi Ed, I will email about t-shirts and more designs later, but now here is a big newsflash. According to this article, OBAMA IS NOT EVEN A CITIZEN!!!!!! http://word.truthintheword.org/archives/1430 Read it for yourself - click on the above link and get ready for a shock. Please read this. Hawaii would need to have been a state 5 years before he was born if one parent was not an American citizen. It was only a state 2 years before he was born!

And Ed replies:

OMG - this is true. I think we need to hire a lawyer and challenge Obama. According to the law, he is not able to run for the president of the USA. Folks, we need Attorney now. I will call a meeting tonight and get this going. Our gal still maybe “Madame Presdient” - Ed

I’ve been on this site for fifteen minutes now and I can’t look away. It’s like watching two neutered puppies trying to hump each other. Can I just take this opportunity to tell all you commenters out there in Slogland…yes, even you…that you are among the most literate and beautiful human beings on the face of the planet?

Two more Hillz-happy comments after the jump, including a total doozy, and then what may be the ideal bad internet comment:

Here’s the doozy, which is so bad that even Ed mocks it:

I’ve heard that if Obama is elected, he’s gonna restart the slave trade, but only for whites. He’s not gonna turn me into no slave. We’ve got to defeat this muslim.

And here’s the ideal bad internet comment:

OH MY GOD THANK YOU FOR THIS SITE I HAVE BEEN PRAYING TO JESUS THAT HILIARY WILL BECOME THE NOMENEE SOMEHOW THAT BARACK HUSSANE MUSLEM CANT BE TRUSTED I HAVE BEEN A DEMOCRAT MY HOLE LIFE AND HAVE GIVEN OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO THEM TO SEE THE NOMENATION STOLEN FROM HER LIKE THAT IS A TRAVESTY OF JUSTICE AND I CAN NOT TAKE THIS ANY MORE ONLY SHE KNOWS THAT JESUS IS THE WAY HE IS MY ONLY LITE IN THIS DARK WORLD AND A MUSLIM LIKE BARACK HUSSANE CANT UNDERSTAND THAT

I actually have to say that it IS kind of amazing how Slog manages to keep the discussion at such an elevated level even without much moderation or registered profiles. Give yourself a pat on the back, Slog!

Bush is the most pro-Israel president we have ever had. America needs to stand strong with Israel now. The Stranger has gone against conventional Seattle wisdom and been pro-war. Bush is the best American president Israel has ever known, and many in the Seattle Jewish community appreciate what Bush has done for Israel.

My new mantra for the internet age:

There aren't more dumb people, they're just more visible. There aren't more dumb people, they're just more visible. There aren't more dumb people, they're just more visible. There aren't more dumb people, they're just more visible. There aren't more dumb people, they're just more visible. There aren't more dumb people, they're just more visible...

Insert nervous breakdown here: _________

so? i'm almost 100% positive there are nutso obama supporters with abysmal grammar, as well. this in no way has anything to do with hillary or probably 90% of the people who voted for her. am i missing the point here?

I'm not convinced that the site isn't a joke. The timing, tone, and misspellings are hilarious.

There's plenty of this around that's not a joke. Just start with reclusiveleftist.com for some of the dead-enders. There was a whole bunch of them explaining that they had determined through body language analysis that Clinton didn't really want them to support Obama. Springs are flying out of their heads. Either Clinton is now flawed or she's being coerced into not burning the democratic party to the ground until they elect a woman president.

I find it hilarious that reclusiveleftist blocks anything that isn't pro hillary, and are seriously considering making themselves irrelevant to the political process.

I heard that if Barack Insane Yomama is elected, cookies (as in the oatmeal kind, not the intarwebs kind) will be made out of falafel only, by threat of punishment by stress position and prolonged exposure to "Enter Sandman" at high volume in the basement of that crazy Reverend Wright's church.

No fuckin' way am I voting for a President like that! Gonna me vote for Phyllis "the atomic bomb is a wonderful gift from God" Schlafly instead.

'Cause I love me a woman what likes to Drop A Bomb On Me!

Note to Internet Trolls.

John McCain was born in Panama... which isn't even a US territory anymore.

The hilarious thing about that site is that the moderator will allow any crazy crap about Obama to be posted, but will not allow any pro-Obama or anti-McCain posts. That is begging for mockery. To test it out, I sent two e-mails. One said I couldn't vote for McCain because of his support for the war. It was blocked. The other said I couldn't vote for Obama because he hates cheese fries and therefore hates America. It was accepted.
Fun!

I sent one that said since John McCain was born in Panama they should remove him from the ticket and have Hillary run for the Republicans.

I doubt that is going to get posted.

Discussion at an elevated level on SLOG? You have got to be kidding. With some notable exceptions, I find the simpleminded and mean-spirited comments on SLOG almost as depressing as the Pro-McCain/post-Clinton people. Don't be so quick to pat yourselves on the back. And yes, the regulars are the worst.

Shrug. Sorry Christina, I've actually learned things from Slog comments, like, for example, that 100 story buildings surrounded by green space are a bad idea. I've never learned anything from Daily Kos comments or NY Times comments.

Nice. I'm a bit more old school than that, though. Make my funk the P-Funk, I want to get funked up. Also late 60s-early 70s JB, and if you want to see me actually levitate, put on "Can't Be Still" or "Red Beans and Rice" by Booker T. & The M.G.s and step back. Watch the feet.

I'm glad people noticed that legally McCain is a Panamanian. We wouldn't elect Panamanian strongman Noriega President, why would we elect Panamanian strongman John McCain?

Plus as a Christian I believe anyone who remarries while his wife is alive is an adulterer. I cannot vote for a flagrant sinner such as McCain, who dumped his crippled wife as soon as he got home from the war, to marry a rich man's bimbo drug-using daughter.
