Oh I get it! Because Obama's NOT white! Or, he's not all white...now I'm confused.

Well, he isn't black either so ....

I don't know what this button wants from me.

When he wins, it will become the Beige House.

They obviously couldn't find a racist graphic designer.

I guess the Clinton people are still stuck in their early 20th century racism ...

@7: Uh, the button was sold at the Republican state convention.

If John McCain is President, will we have to call it a White Home?

(Because he's old?)

(And old people live in a home?)

Goddammit, racist jokes are just easier to get.

Who knew George Clinton was so prophetic: "They still call it the White House, but that's a temporary condition, too." That, or he's behind these damn buttons!

Can you dig it, CC?

sad, bad GOPster vendors.

But think.

It was built by slaves.

Today their descendants living in DC have no voting rights for any representatives who can vote on the floor of Congress.

They are unequal under the law to you and me.

And you care more about a statement on a button ?

Take the button away, DC is still a plantation and few "progressives" give a shit about a real deprivation of ral voting rights affecting what, about 300,000 black folks living today.

I'll see your "Will they still call it the White House?" and raise you one "No Cuntry for Old Men".

Its not really a "house", now is it?

I call it 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

@8 - right, I said the Clinton people. You know, like all the ones joining Facebook groups for their fellow Republican John McCain.

If it quacks like a duck, it ain't a swallow, Red Bushies.

@21 ?

Any action taken by a republican can be attributed to Clinton people? Because there are people online claiming (who are probably a bunch of repub dirty tricksters) to be defecting from the Clinton camp to the McCain camp?

Facebook?

Ducks?

It's comments like @21 that make me think Will really is losing his mind. Some gears have certainly slipped in the past few months, or else I just wasn't paying close enough attention before.

Get a grasp of logic, Will. Just because some Clinton supporters now support the Republican candidate doesn't mean that anything the Republicans do can be attributed to Clinton supporters. This button came from the state Republican party.

The Executive Mansion only became The White House after they painted it to cover up the black charring from when the British torched it in the War of 1812. Inside the white house is a black house waiting to get out!

After I saw this button, I went to the website -- most of their pins were anti-Hillary, anti-Clintons. I searched for "Obama," "Barack," even "Hussein" ... nuthin.
So I googled anti-Obama buttons, and man, those people have so little going on! It's all like "I saw Obama chasing Osama on a llama," "Osama loves Obama"... the wittiest (if you can call it that) is "Barack is all talk." They got nuthin! Nuth - thin!!

Oh, except he'll turn the "White House" into the "Wright House"! Get it? Get it?
