As long as there's pinball, great. Oh, and the wife has a work meeting, so she's coming later.

What about Tetris? I suck at all other video games.

Inga's not coming. I've given up trying to get her to go. But I'll be there.

Ms. Pacman is fun, Abby.

That doesn't mean I don't suck at it.

@2: Are you talking about the arcade Tetris with the joystick, or the Nintendo Tetris with the D-pad?

I really hope these bars give you great drink specials...

what with the advertising for them every single day for like 2 weeks leading up to the thing

@6: any Tetris. I'm not saying I'm great, but I'm better than sucky.

I've recently developed an aversion to making a fool of myself so I'm changing my attendance to a maybe.

The best Tetris is the one inside Monty Python's "Bring Out Your Dead" ....

No, the best Tetris is Dr. Mario.

@12 - are you filming in sepia-toned black and white with a slow shutter-speed?

Ms. Pacman? No way. When I go to Shorty's I'm all about Q-Bert and Big Buck Hunter. And hot dogs and reasonably priced drinks.

I think they have the only working big buck hunter in the city.

Do they have veggie dogs? I am a vegetarian, you know--all rumors to the contrary.

Yes, they have veggie dogs. You can even get it smothered in veggie chili if you have any unwanted stomach lining you'd like to burn off.

@16 - Yes, they do have veggie dogs.

Uke, Hernandez -- you'll have to teach me how to play Big Buck Hunter. Unless that's some kind of a euphemism, in which case Mrs. Fnarf will have to rescue me.

#2 - I was all set to say "Ms. Pacman is the best videogame of all time", but Tetris, sigh.

And damnit, why can't there be a shooter like Big Buck Hunter for the Wii. That's Cabella's game kinda sucks, as will Super Duck Hunt or whatever it's called.

Links crossbow training comes with the Wii zapper and its boat loads of fun. No critters though... sigh

Thanks Uke, I'll look into that.

You should totally come to SLOG night, PopTart@9. You will appreciate SLOG more by meeting some of the characters. Though be forewarned: I found myself much less able to flame people after meeting them*. You seem more polite than I, though, so this might not bother you.

So they have veggie dogs--check. But do they have vegan haggis? I've managed to be a semi-serious part-time vegan for almost a decade now, but my genetic memory of Celtic muppetry is too strongly imprinted, and every now and then, I just gotta have...

HAGGIS! HAGGIS! HAAAAAGGIIIIISSSSS!!!!
