Here's the same Russian skit, filmed from a different angle:

There's actually cellphone footage of the same event with sound. Look it up.

As for the location- according to the Something Awful forums, somewhere in Russia.

Come on. I'm sure most of us have at least thought of doing something like that at one time or another. It's something I'd consider doing were it not for fear of prisons and mental institutions. Just being honest:)

It seemed pretty real to me. Maybe I'm gullible. But I just don't think a hoax could have captured the reactions of the other co-workers so believably.

It seems real to you for twenty people to stand there fully exposed while someone throwing CPUs and partitions for a full three minutes whne there are numerous doors where they can exit??

The other-angle vid with sound makes it sound like they hit him with a Taser.

I think it's fake. But who knows?

@Hartiepie,

I think people probably had a sense that they weren't so much in danger that they had ro run. They were probably enjoying watching him freak out. But then again the whole thing seemed less believable to me after a second viewing.

I prefer the ones made by ATMs.

Oh ho ho... I just googled "ATM videos" and forgot about good old "ass-to-mouth." Oops...

It's a fake. It's obviously staged because in the first few seconds you knew exactly where to look. Really, ask yourself honestly - were you surprised that the guy walking in with the white shirt was in the action you KNEW was inevitable? You didn't know what the action was going to be but I bet you knew where it would happen in the frame. This kind of thing never happens off to the side of the frame - it's always screen center.

Weird follow up – apparently those videos are part of some kind of viral ad campaign, filmed to promote the movie Wanted, by the Russian director Timur Bekmambetov (who also did those Nightwatch movies). He cops to it on his blog here: http://tbekmambetov.livejournal.com/7022.html

Here’s one of the clips in context: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhcmCW9UkKA
