Lieberman Sucks Ass

posted by on June 23 at 13:45 PM

And Time is all over it. But it seems that Time’s Jay Newton-Small runs with a different class of cuckolds than I do….

It’s a fine line Lieberman’s walking and one that could have serious consequences. The Democrats are well-positioned to pick up several Senate seats in November and if he’s no longer the 51st vote, Lieberman may find himself facing open calls to throw him out of the caucus. No one likes to play the cuckold for long, sooner or later they ask for a divorce.

Hm. The cucks I hear from at Savage Love never tire of watching other men fuck their wives senseless. But here’s hoping Dems pick up 10 seats this November, for a filibuster-proof majority, and that they’re so sick of watching Lieberman eat John McCain’s ass that they toss him the fuck out of their caucus.

If that happens Lieberman, if he remains true to form, will sidle gingerly leftward and go back to pretending to be a Democrat.

Lieberman's loyalties are to Isreal, not to America. That being said, there are plenty of Dems who fear the Isreali lobby enough to keep their mouths shut. Like the Cuban lobby, they have political power that can be used destroy careers.

Last time I checked, LIEberman was elected by the people in the state he lives in.

Until they change their minds it doesn't matter what the rest of America thinks.

There's a difference between being a cuckold fetishist and a cuckold.

since Congress' poll ratings are so low anyway, why not just go ahead and kick Lieberman out to the sidelines, blame all the inaction on him until October

Sounds like that should put him in a free and clear position to run as McCain's VP... (If he doesn't offer Hillary the slot.)

Will, the voters of Connecticut decide whether or not Lieberman will get re-elected next time around. However, they do not get to decided if Lieberman will continue to play with the Democrats. Techncially, he is an Independent who caucuses with the Democrats, and only because the Democrats allow him to (they are not at all obligated to).

Right now he can pretty much say and do anything he wants because the Democrats cannot afford to toss him out of the caucus. If they do, they throw the majority over to the Republicans. The D's hold exactly 50 seats at present. Lieberman caucusing with them gives them a majority of 1, and control of all of the committees. If he caucuses with the Republicans instead, Cheney breaks the tie, and the Republicans would then control all of the committees.

Come November, if the Democrats pick up even a couple of seats, they will no longer need him to hold the majority. All of his leverage disappears. I say the Democrats should toss him from the party immediately after the election. The voters of Connecticut can do whatever the hell they want with him after that. I have no use for him whatsoever.

Please.

Even if nonLieberman Dems have 60 seats on any given vote there will always be a few who peel off and we will need a few R's and maybe that asshole from Ct. Lieberman.

Oh yes, too bad Obama supported him....

Meanwhile we have Brian Baird right here in Washington being all pro war and shit and if we don't take care of him who are we to complain about Joe L.?

What we should insist on is that first thing under Pres. Obama they vote to do away with the stupid rule that you need 60 votes to stop a filibuster.

Who lets anyone else filibuster in any kind of meeting? Why empower the minority?

Esp. a minority of one?

Let's just pray that in the spirit of "bipartisanship", McCain taps Lieberman as a VP running mate.

We all know how excited America was by an old, dull, wrinkly Jewish man* the last time Lieberman was on a presidential ticket. Please, take our lead anchor.

* Subtract "dull" from that, and we get Don Rickles. Now THAT would complement the Obama ticket! The classy prez and the out of control madman VP. I like it... Obama/Rickles '08! Yes we can, you hockey pucks!

You're confusing the cuckold fetish with the "hotwives" fetish. They're quite different; the cuckold fetish has an emasculation subtext quite lacking in the usual "hotwife" fetish.
