Horrible as it was, the victim was not a co-creator of Curious George. It does sound more exiting to label him as one though.

Not to diminish the horribleness of what happened, but for the record, we're talking about a writer who collaborated with a Curious George co-creator on many of the franchise incarnations following the recent movie.
