Or, much more likely, people will host books in countries like China that care little about copyright, and they will be read on the web by devices more like the iPod 3 that will surf web pages, play music, and take pictures.

eReaders are an evolutionary dead end.

Hmm ... missing from the miBook and "iPod 3"? The thing that makes even the current generation of electronic readers good for actual reading: electronic paper. Nice, contrasty, looks like newsprint, much easier on the eyes than lame old LCDs, electronic paper.
