Not only am I partial to low-fat vinaigrettes, but when I cook at home I almost always prepare a salad. The only part they got wrong was the bit about avoiding temptation by only having two flavors of salad dressing on hand, instead of 3 or 4. I only use one salad dressing, which I make from scratch; a dash of olive oil, a dash of champagne vinegar, some seasoned salt, lots of cracked pepper and some fennel seeds.
